I am more than just a fantasy football junkie. I a complete sports junkie. I am obsessed with basketball, football, and baseball while I also tend to keep tabs on other sports like hockey, nascar, soccer and others depending on the occasion. Sports have became such a big part of my life I want my career to be centered around them.
My name is Brenden Snow, I am currently a sophomore at Texas State University in San Marcos. I am a journalism major as I want to be in the sports media for my profession. I would love to be a part of a TV station or radio network with a sports channel or show. I currently work at my schools radio station, 89.9 KTSW, as a sports reporter. I do sometimes get airtime also whether it is on our sports talk radio show, Bobcat Radio from 11am-noon Monday, Wednesday, and Friday or getting to do play-by-play or color commentary for a live game. I hope to be at the station my whole college career because there is a lot of valuable things i can learn there and will help me get a desirable job in the future.
I am from the Fort Worth area so naturally I support the Dallas teams. I’m a die hard for the Cowboys, Mavericks and Rangers when it comes to professional sports. On the collegiate level I obviously root for Texas State but also Louisiana State University. My mothers side of the family if from the Bayou and I love visiting there and was also send me LSU gear as a child and they grew on me. I used to play sports when I had the time and physical capability. I played basketball all of high school as it was my best and favorite sport. Whether it is playing, watching anything basketball related wins with me every time. Even though I often see sports as a top thing to me it still doesn’t touch my family. They never stop supporting me in anything I do and I would not be anywhere near I am today without them.
